Wells, leases and production
Texas RRC production data is imported and matched to wells and leases, with gap detection across production months. API identity is canonical 42-CCC-NNNNN — a partial county code is not a well. RRC workbooks import by sheet without confusing the API number, lease number or district. Held-by-production status flows into the ownership view.
Leasehold and mineral ownership together
Mineral and leasehold interests are tracked per tract with balance checking: an interest that does not total to one is flagged rather than rounded away. Net mineral acres, leasehold and HBP conflicts are included in the ownership report.
Heirship and estates
Estates, heirs and determinations are mapped in a heirship tree. Each determination is held for review before it affects ownership.
Research inside the fence
A dedicated research browser touches only domains you approved, with spending safeguards for paid sources such as CourthouseDirect and TexasFile. The official Texas RRC is always allowed. Passwords are handled by take-over — you sign in, the software never sees the credential.
Time, billing and owners
Day rates, expenses and invoices in exact cents; owner and offer tracking; deadlines derived from lease data; a GIS plat with tract boundaries, well locations, offline SVG rendering and GeoJSON import — complementing, not replacing, ArcGIS.
On real assignments completed by working landmen, TitleDesk's automated run takes about twenty minutes for work that takes a landman three to five days; the landman then reviews and certifies. Packets, county sources and scan quality move the figure, so the ROI page shows every assumption, and we will help you qualify it on one of your own assignments. Download v0.2.5 or talk to Spencer.
