Every build has a published SHA-256. Check it before you open the image; a mismatch means the download is not ours.

Newest update: Windows v0.2.18

Assignment details you fill in yourself now start the run: press Run and TitleDesk reads the boxes first, then starts, or names the one fact still missing. A new Tract numbers box takes one tract per line (for example Tract 1: 40 acres, DR 244/240) and replaces the tracts read from the pasted assignment. The party box is now Lessor / Grantor / Grantee, one name per line. A lower-case county, abstracts typed as A954 or 954, 1141, and acres typed as 80 ac. are read, and gross acres you type win over the pasted text. This update also carries the TexasFile fixes made during live assignments and the agent terminal in Special Requests, which runs Claude Code or Codex inside TitleDesk when you have one installed and signed in. Mac and Linux stay on v0.2.17.

What arrived in v0.2.17

Every platform now runs the same release. Saved sign-ins, the owner-only unattended credential, are read on Windows from Credential Manager. CountyRecords keeps signing in inside TitleDesk's own window, which its login form supports; TexasFile and CourthouseDirect open ordinary Chrome for sign-in. Use the Open your own Chrome button for email or Google pages, never TitleDesk's records window.

Included from v0.2.16: TexasFile opens ordinary Chrome for sign-in, then connects automatically after you close that window. CourthouseDirect subscription viewing now has its own connection and view-limit controls in Setup. Account matching ignores letter case, and a different signed-in account is named clearly. This update also includes all previous Windows Codex and Claude fixes.

Included from v0.2.15: the TexasFile adapter, free county-index searches, exact page-priced PDF quotes and fixes for Windows Codex configuration, Claude discovery and sign-in, and overlapping Setup connection checks. Your existing activation code continues to work.

Plan on about an hour to a few hours, depending on assignment complexity.

Mac and Linux are on v0.2.17 too, with everything that reached Windows in 0.2.14 to 0.2.16: TexasFile research, the CourthouseDirect viewer and the Codex and Claude connection fixes. Explore the latest features or read the full fixes list.

Included in v0.2.13 and later

  • Keep your assignment moving. Continue interrupted assignments and choose your research time and purchase ceiling.
  • Make your existing documents count. Reuse supplied records in the examination, with recording citations and source pages alongside the runsheet.
  • Work ownership and net acres together. Improved source examination carries mineral reservations, fractions, succession questions and acreage into the client report.
  • Get a clear next step. Blue assistance cards ask for the fact or instrument needed for your tract. Red AI cards guide you through restoring your chosen AI connection.
  • Install with confidence. Apple silicon and Intel Mac installers are signed and notarized. Windows is Authenticode-signed. The Linux AppImage has a signed verification receipt. Packaged local OCR and all 35 AI tools were checked on each platform.

Automatic updates for existing customers

Windows customers: download and install v0.2.18 from this page; installed copies may also update on their own when TitleDesk is quit. TitleDesk checks shortly after launch and every four hours, downloads in the background and applies the update when you quit. Open it again to use the new version. Mac and Linux stay on v0.2.17. Your workspace, licence and subscription continue.
